You are VERY talented. The attention to detail is absolutely marvelous, if you don't mind me using a horribly cliché term. The only weaknesses I saw (and I could be wrong) are that the shading seems a little too dark on his behind, it makes the muscles seem as defined as they are in the legs; it seems they should be smoother there. Also, the path he's walking on seems to be on a lower level than the rocks, so it needs to be darker. Aren't the rocks obscuring some light? But if you do make the shadows from the rocks, a high definition isn't needed.

thanks for the comment, I didn't think about the rocks and lighting scenario, I was trying to be able to stand after sitting long enough to do that, I have trouble with my knee so I get distracted at times. Your comments help a lot. Thank you.

I took one art class my freshman year, hated the art teacher, and quit. everything I've done is nearly self-taught from observation or experience. I looked over a few art books from time to time but most of it's trial and error or sketching a picture I happened to find somewhere. I have no formal training besides that single art 1 class I took. So, I've worked very hard.

and it has paid off my friend paid off. me i've been the same though i'm more a cartoonist than a real life drawer. I see things slightly different. It's hard to explain.
